Taoist sex magic was not on my history bingo card but here we are!
Jiutian Xuannü is officially my new favorite goddess in all of the pantheons!! We've covered a lot of Chinese history on the podcast, but never Chinese mythology and I am so glad that you requested more mythology. I was always hesitant to cover more mythology since this is a history podcast, but mythology is a part of history, and just as important! I hope you enjoy this episode and maybe put on some headphones because there are some not safe for work topics, but hey, be a rebel if you want to! I'm sure Susan from finance would also love to hear about this goddess of war and sex!!
